Opens with aromas of semi-sweet cherry fruit and subtle hints of dust and cedar. Raspberry and candied violets dominate the mid palate and are followed by opulent creamy oak. This Cabernet Franc is elegantly balanced with rich, ripe fruit expressions. There is a bitter sweet expression of tannin towards the end contributing to the age ability. This will round off in time. Best paired with seven spice rubbed pork tenderloin with braised chard and whole grain mustard sauce.
