| Betsy and Bill Nachbaur's twenty-seven acre Alegria Vineyard is a wine geek's dream. They lovingly grow many obscure red varietals highly regarded by a pantheon of cult California winemakers. We particularly esteem their field blend block of old vine Zinfandel established in the 1890s. With 12 varietals contributing to the flavor profile, this luscious field-blend Zin is a smooth, balanced, multidimensional wine. |
